I’ve been finding these little ladybugs all over my house today.
(It’s a cruddy picture; I know. I was using my computer’s camera, on my table, in the evening – and managed to dunk my hair into my coffee during the maneuvering proccess.)
There are a limited number of suspects who could be behind this invasion. A mother doesn’t forget her own child, and these practically qualify. I created these little buggers and sent them to my sister-in-law’s house once upon a time. And while that labor wasn’t as intensive as childbirth, I remember these little ladies! They couldn’t have come back to my house from anyone but her.
The question is: how did they get here?
I told my kids that my brilliant brother-in-law figured out a method of teleportation and she came from Oklahoma and did it herself while I was at church this morning. But Malin tells me that “Daddy is just as brilliant as Uncle Phil” and since Roger hasn’t come up with anything nearly that revolutionary yet, I can only assume that Uncle Phil hasn’t been working on a teleporting device in his garage. (I wish he would though. Wesley wants one to transfer vegetables to his stomach without having to put them through his mouth.)
Hmm. I wonder if I’ll have to find as many as she did. There must have been over 100 in that bag…
